First Time at a Naturist Party?

Utah Male Naturists holds a variety of events, including deck parties, cocktail parties, potlucks, and campouts throughout the year. UMeN members will either be admitted to the events for free or at a reduced rate, depending on the event. Guests are welcome at most events. Many of our guests have been to nude beaches, and some live a nudist lifestyle at home. For others, this is their first time nude in a social environment. You must be at least 18 years old to attend UMeN events and 21 years old to drink any alcohol.

What to Bring:

You should bring a towel to sit on. Also, please bring your own beverages to drink and food to share, as indicated in the party announcement. A small fee to help cover expenses is charged at most parties, as indicated in the announcement. This should be paid when you arrive.

You may wish to bring a backpack or gym bag to place your clothes in. If the announcement indicates that lockers are available, you may also wish to bring a lock to ensure that your clothes are secure. Please avoid bringing more than a few dollars or valuables to the party. Neither UMeN nor the party host are responsible for anything lost or stolen.

When You Arrive:

When you arrive, there may be someone there to check you in. Sometimes not. When you get there, you will be directed to the changing area where you can get undressed and leave your clothes.

What to Expect:

These naturist events are much like other social events. You will find men in a social atmosphere participating in the planned activities. The biggest difference is that everyone is nude. We hope you will also find a greater sense of camaraderie and mutual acceptance.

Statement on Sexuality:

UMeN joins GNI in supporting healthy, legal, non-sexual nude recreation.

UMeN acknowledges that sex is natural, but sex is not equated with naturism. We respect all members for their individuality, whether or not they choose to express their sexuality, and shall endeavor to respect individual sensibilities as may be appropriate.

UMeN events are naturist events. Sexual activity is not appropriate during UMeN events. Any events officially sponsored by UMeN or advertised on the UMeN site will NOT be followed by "after-hours" or "discreet areas" like some other naturist groups in the world.
